Location: Greater Helsinki area / hybrid Do you want to define solutions where business needs, systems, integrations and data meet? We are looking for an experienced Solution Analyst to work on demanding financial sector development projects. In this role you will transform business and system needs into functional and technical definitions. Describe solution operations, interfaces, data flows and dependencies and ensure development teams have a shared understanding of the implemented whole. You will work closely with customers, architects, developers, testers and other experts. The role requires the ability to grasp large-scale concepts, identify open questions and push definitions forward independently to support implementation and testing. In your role you will produce and maintain functional and technical specifications, describe API interfaces, integrations, data flows and system dependencies, refine solution options with architects and developers, break requirements into deliverables, user stories and acceptance criteria, identify assumptions, open questions, risks and decision needs, ensure specifications are implementable and sufficiently precise, support testing, approvals and deployment readiness, and collaborate across multiple teams, stakeholders and potential suppliers. What we require from you: strong practical experience in requirements specification for system development projects; experience producing functional and technical specifications independently; understanding of API interfaces, integrations, data flows and system architecture fundamentals; ability to read and produce technical documentation and discuss solutions with developers and architects; experience managing large-scale system dependencies; experience with user stories, acceptance criteria and testing support; experience with agile development and use of Jira and Confluence; prior experience with financial sector systems, services or development projects; fluent Finnish and English. Additionally, success factors: knowledge of Azure and SaaS solutions; experience with REST APIs, event streams, batch processes or real-time integrations; knowledge of API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AKS or Kafka; understanding of data modeling, data quality or migrations; experience developing mission-critical services; experience producing solution architecture diagrams or technical concepts; prior work in roles such as Technical Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst or Solution Designer. Working model: join Twoday’s Analyst team, with experienced Business and Solution Analysts from various sectors. Although daily work will be on a Finnish financial sector client project, you belong to your own expert community at Twoday. The team offers regular sharing of experiences and collaboration to grow skills with other analysts. The role includes regular on-site work at the client’s premises in Helsinki, typically a couple of days per week. The role suits someone living in the Helsinki metropolitan area or who can travel to Helsinki regularly.
