The tasks are as follows: - For first grades, proficiency in sign language is required; the position is part-time with a workweek of 22 hours. - For third grades, the position is part-time with a workweek of 23 hours. We hope that the selected person has good cooperation and interaction skills, experience in supporting students' learning and school attendance, and the ability to work in shared spaces, as well as a desire to develop their work in a student-centered manner. During school holidays, the employer is not obligated to provide work. These school holiday periods are unpaid leave. Renkomäki School is located in Monitoimitalo Aura. The school has approximately 420 students in grades 1-6 and special support classes for grades 1-9. Aura also hosts Renkomäki Daycare's preschool education and related early childhood education, after-school activities for students, and a library. The environment of the multi-purpose building offers diverse opportunities for comprehensive learning. Our operational culture develops methods such as the Learning Circle, co-teaching, and experiential learning. In Aura, we learn to fly safely together! We require applicants to have at least a suitable secondary education qualification (e.g., school assistant, practical nurse specializing in children and youth, youth worker, or special instructor for children and youth) or a specialized vocational qualification in school assistance. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002. A drug test certificate may also be requested. The position is subject to a four-month probation period. During school holiday periods, the employer is not obligated to provide work. These periods are unpaid leave.
