We are seeking a QA/QC Manager to work on industrial project sites. Could this be your next career move? Job Description As a responsible leader, the QA/QC Manager has overall responsibility for quality control at construction sites and ensures that all work is carried out according to project specifications, standards, contractual requirements, and client expectations. You will lead the quality assurance and quality control organization at the site, manage inspections, deviations, and violations, communicate with contractors, suppliers, commissioning teams, and clients, and ensure transparent quality reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Your tasks include developing and maintaining the site QA/QC plan, planning and managing inspections, audits, preparing ITPs and ensuring compliance, managing NCRs, monitoring quality levels, and implementing preventive measures, leading QA/QC inspectors and supervisors, and overseeing delivery quality. You will promote a strong quality culture and work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, commissioning teams, and Sweco’s project organization to ensure smooth project progress. We are recruiting personnel for construction sites across Finland. This role involves travel, and you should be prepared to visit various sites frequently. The work is primarily on project sites. Keys to success in this role To succeed, you should have experience in quality assurance and quality control in industrial projects, with a strong background in delivery control. You should have proven experience with ITPs, NCRs, and corrective actions. Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and lead quality teams and QA/QC personnel on-site. A suitable technical educational background and proficiency in Finnish and English are required. Additionally, experience in industrial, energy, or data center projects, ISO-based quality management systems, and strong customer collaboration experience in quality assurance are valued.
