To get there, we need a leader who has successfully built and elevated design practices before—someone who knows what "great" looks like, both in the final user experience and in the best-in-class ways of working that get us there.</span></p><p><span>You will play a fundamental role in translating our consumer-centric strategy and ambition into world-class design execution that drives real user, business, and brand impact.</span></p><p><span><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></p><p><span>As the Design Director at Instabee, your mission is to embed user-centricity into our cross-functional initiatives and workflows, implement insights-driven design practices, and lead and develop our team of product and brand designers. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders in strategy, product, analytics, tech, and operations. Together with your peers in Consumer, you will establish consumer ambassadorship and center of excellence - ensuring the consumer experience is top-of-mind in everything we do.</span></p><p><span>Your responsibilities fall into three key pillars:</span></p><p><span><strong>1. Drive Design Strategy & Transformation</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop and continuously hone the design practices at Instabee to achieve our high consumer experience ambitions, desired brand position, user-centricity, efficiency, and business outcomes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Champion the end-to-end user perspective across all development phases, from discovery and design execution to post-launch optimization.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate the value of great design for our user experience and business goals, building trust, credibility and the strong internal relationships needed to give design a strong voice in company decisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure our design organization stays on the forefront of the craft: exploring and putting emerging methodologies and technologies into practice.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-ccb3697e-7fff-7b05-f070-f6ea4007ce1a">2. Lead and Empower the Design Team</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Recruit, coach, develop, and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of product and brand designers working with teams and stakeholders across the organization.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Oversee brand and product design for Growth, Operations, Markets, and other key teams. Translate strategic business objectives and priorities into clear design strategy, adapting resources and capabilities to effectively support the organization and focus where it matters most.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Champion high standards for design execution. Ensure design output is cohesive, high-quality, and clearly connected to user and business goals.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>3. Deliver Senior Design Excellence</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Keep one foot in the craft, driving own high-impact product and UX/UI design work - leading by example and showcasing best practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Raise the bar for design and design processes across digital, physical and human interactions, ensuring we deliver "brilliant basics" enhanced by targeted signature “wow moments” that differentiate us.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Act as a strong facilitator bringing cross-functional experts together to solve complex consumer challenges and drive user-centric innovation.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-d1f3ba4b-7fff-89ba-8aeb-ac311e2c4330">Your Profile</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>8+ years of experience in senior consumer-focused design or product UX/UI roles within a fast-paced service, product, or tech environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A proven track record of design execution that drives clear user, business, and brand impact.</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Solid experience building, leading and elevating multidisciplinary design teams.
