We are seeking a service assistant with AAC training for the Southern Savo region. We are looking for a service assistant for a client in home-based services. In this role, you will support the client in their daily life at their own home. The job requires AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) training and the ability to meet the client individually and respectfully. Job responsibilities Supporting the client in daily activities in a home environment Supporting communication using AAC methods Promoting the client’s well-being and participation What we expect from you Candidates implementing AAC guidance should have one of the following qualifications: Sign language interpreter (additional pedagogical studies to complement skills) Communication counselor vocational qualification Speech-impaired interpreter (device operation) Reliable and responsible work attitude Good interaction skills Ability to work independently in the client’s home Working hours The service is primarily provided 10–20 hours per month. A driver’s license and the possibility to use your own car are prerequisites for the job. What does a framework agreement mean at Onni? A framework agreement allows for gig-based work without commitment to a specific number of hours. Shifts are offered through the DomaCare system, from which you can choose the most suitable shifts. Work is available on weekdays and weekends, including morning and evening shifts. Salary and other employment terms are determined according to the private social services sector collective agreement. You will receive proper orientation before starting shifts, and support is available during work if needed. The employment relationship is established separately for each agreed and approved shift.
