Lapland Staff söker aktivitetsledare till Lapland Safaris i Saariselkä, Hetta och Ylläs för julperioden 2026. Aktivitetsledare arbetar utomhus på en jultemad aktivitetsplats och underhåller och guidar internationella julgrupper, huvudsakligen familjer. Arbetet är självständigt men sker i ett stort team med flera kollegor. Varje aktivitetsledare ansvarar för god kundservice och säkerhet vid sin arbetsstation. Under högsäsong kan arbetsdagarna bli långa, och arbetet utförs både vardagar och helgdagar. Arbetstider varierar beroende på grupper och program. Arbetsuppgifterna inkluderar förberedelse av aktivitetsområdet före ankomst av gäster samt städning efter programmet. Kommunikation med kunder och kollegor sker huvudsakligen på engelska. Du behöver inte vara flytande, men kunna ge klädanvisningar, svara kortfattat på frågor eller hänvisa till en kollega. Kunskaper i andra språk är till stor fördel, särskilt spanska i Saariselkä. Please read more under the job advertisement In Saariselkä you will introduce tobogganing, mini-skidoo, kick-sledding or tandem skiing to our guests. You can also be working at the reindeer info, pancake-hut or at the warmup cabin. You might also work as a road crosser, when you make sure that the guests are crossing the road safely, either by snowmobile or by walking. In addition, your work tasks may include clothing and equipment maintenance. In Hetta your workplace can be the toboggan slide or bobsleigh hill, you might be teaching the guests to drive the snowmobile, or you might be serving ginger breads in the snow castle and telling stories about the castle itself. You might also be part of the very important team that organizes the visits to Santa Claus himself. In Hetta, providing clothing to the guests and clothing maintenance plays a big role in the Outdoor Activity workers daily routines and work tasks. In Ylläs you will be based mainly in the Snow Village area. Your main duties include driving sledges with a snowmobile and occasionally guiding guests in safe snowmobile use. You will also engage guests with activities such as riding mini skidoos. In addition, you may share stories about Christmas and Lapland in a cozy hut, creating a warm and memorable experience. You will be responsible for general maintenance tasks. These include ensuring that fireplaces are always prepared and making sure that there are always refreshments available. Lapland Safaris provides new employees with paid, role-specific training at the beginning of their employment. The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract by the Collective Agreement in the Adventure Services sector. Work will begin in mid-November or at the end of November and will last approximately until the Christmas holidays in Hetta, and until the end of December 2026 in Saariselkä. Salary according to the Collective Agreement of Adventure Services grade A, hourly wage starting from 10,10 € (gross). Work will be done also during weekends and public holidays. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is organized in shared rooms, with reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level.
