We are looking for a pathology resident who is not afraid of diverse sample materials or independent work. The start date and duration are negotiable. The pathology unit at Lapland Central Hospital examines approximately 13,000 tissue and cell samples annually and conducts medical death investigations. The unit is compact, efficient, and versatile. Our key strength is our top professionals in a laboratory that handles not only perfect tissue sections but also molecular pathology rapid tests. We have smoothly transitioned to digital pathology for tissue diagnostics. Our unit is accredited, so a strong commitment to quality work, continuous improvement, and development is familiar to us. The qualification requirement is the right to practice medicine as a licensed professional according to the Act on Healthcare Professionals (559/1994) Section 4. Salary and employment terms are determined according to the Medical Contract. A trial period of up to half the duration of the fixed-term employment applies.
