The City of Rauma is seeking a WATER SUPPLY MANAGER for a permanent position at the Rauma Water and Sewerage Department. The role offers a versatile and impactful position in the operational management and development of the city's water supply services, as well as ensuring the operational reliability of critical infrastructure. Water supply is a key service for societal functioning, emphasizing investment management, safety, and cooperation with various stakeholders. The role includes public responsibility and communication regarding current issues in water supply, serving as a key interface with residents, decision-makers, and other stakeholders. As Water Supply Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management, finances, and development of the Rauma Water and Sewerage Department, which has approximately 11 million euros in turnover and annual investments of about 4-5 million euros. The role covers the entire water supply system, including water procurement, networks, procurement, and security of supply. You will supervise the operations manager and the work management. You will also contribute to the implementation of strategic goals and continuous development of operations. Qualifications include a relevant higher education degree and experience in the field. Your key responsibilities include: - Operational, financial, and personnel management of water supply and ensuring service quality - Leading investments, refurbishment projects, and network construction, as well as managing backlog - Developing long-term asset management and planning - Managing public procurement and tender processes, and contract management - Ensuring water availability and long-term operational development - Overseeing water supply safety, including cybersecurity and security of supply in collaboration with the city's safety organization - Collaborating and engaging with residents, stakeholders, authorities, and contractors - Preparing and presenting matters to the department board of the department You will report to the Director of the Technical Sector.
