We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client projects in product development Role We are looking for an experienced project manager for a permanent position to work on client projects in product development within our southern/western team, whose members are located in the Helsinki, Turku, and Tampere regions. We are currently strengthening our team especially for projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The work is primarily hybrid, based at our clients' sites according to their hybrid work practices, with a goal of meeting with the team once a month at Mecaplan’s office. Our assignments are often long-term and extensive, allowing you to delve deeply into the core activities of the client organization and utilize your professional strengths. Usually, 1-2 Mecaplan employees work on the same project, sometimes in larger teams. Tasks are tailored to the individual, with the aim of long-term employment and opportunities for growth in different roles. We are happy to discuss potential client projects that match your background and strengths as the process progresses. The base salary for the position is approximately €4,500–€5,500 per month, depending on experience. We also have bonus systems and good employee benefits. Keys to success in the role We seek a versatile professional with strong experience especially in project management of product development projects. You should have the ability and readiness to understand broad electro-mechanical product assemblies at a general technical level and discuss them with designers and clients. A relevant educational background, such as a mechanical or electrical engineering degree or a Master of Science in Technology, is expected. Previous experience in product development within our client industries and diverse operational environments is valued. You should have strong project management and communication skills, a systematic work approach, and the ability to handle ambiguity and multitask effectively. Proficiency in English is required, and Finnish language skills are also desired.
