We are currently seeking a permanent chief physician for the pulmonary diseases unit. As Chief Physician, your duties include overseeing the pulmonary diseases outpatient clinic and ward work, as well as contributing to the development of operations. In the pulmonary clinic you will work alongside specialists and trainees, as well as an experienced nursing and ward secretary team. The work community possesses extensive and diverse expertise in pulmonary diseases. We welcome research activity and will consider your preferences when describing the job. The salary for this position is according to the career ladder model, starting at €8,120.24/month plus possible increases. Qualifications require specialist training in pulmonology and sufficient knowledge of the unit’s operations. Additional benefit is versatile experience in treating pulmonary patients and strong collaboration and negotiation skills. In addition to clinical expertise, leadership training is an advantage. Terms of employment follow the doctors’ collective agreement. A probationary period applies, and the selected candidate must provide a health statement. We require the ability to meet the infectious disease act §48 suitability requirement. Annual influenza and pertussis vaccinations are arranged by the employer if needed.
