We are looking for an occupational safety specialist for our client to be responsible for the development, supervision, and ensuring compliance with legislation regarding occupational health and safety at construction sites. The role offers an opportunity to influence safety practices in practice and support managers and staff in maintaining a safe working environment. In your role, you will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining occupational health and safety practices; Implementing safety instructions and procedures within the organization; Conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; Investigating work accidents and hazardous situations and following up on corrective actions; Organizing safety training and inductions; Monitoring legislative requirements and ensuring compliance; Collaborating with management, staff, contractors, and authorities. We expect from you: Relevant technical or safety-related education; Experience in developing occupational safety and practical safety work; Knowledge of occupational safety legislation and authority requirements; Good communication and collaboration skills; Proactive, systematic, and solution-oriented work approach; Fluent Finnish language skills; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
