Welcome to our team at Rovaniemi Home Care! We are looking for a practical nurse for the Ounasjoentie team. Home care is provided either in the client's home or through remote visits, tailored individually according to the client's needs and a service and care plan. Through home care services, we support the client's own resources and functional capacity in a multidisciplinary manner, enabling high-quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. The clients are mainly elderly people whose health condition requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Practical nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone's contribution is valued. Team members and the immediate supervisor support you in adapting to the new work community. As a practical nurse, your role involves guiding and assisting clients with basic care, supporting daily activities with a rehabilitative approach that encourages the client's own resources. You act as the client's own nurse, perform RAI assessments, and evaluate the client's functional capacity together with the team. The work also includes meeting elderly clients, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and organizing support services in collaboration with the team when necessary. The variety and independence of the work make it meaningful.
