We are seeking an MEP Engineer for the construction services unit, responsible for diverse and responsible tasks related to building projects and extensive procurements. The duties of the MEP Engineer include expert tasks related to the technical basic systems of buildings. The goal is to ensure optimal functionality, energy efficiency, and healthy and safe indoor conditions throughout the building's lifecycle. The MEP Engineer participates in the planning and construction of building projects as a technical expert and guides building services design and solutions. The role involves developing procurement and planning guidelines for building services in collaboration with other experts. The MEP Engineer is involved in PTS planning and the development and implementation of energy efficiency measures. The engineer works closely with various design disciplines, contractors, and users. The position requires an independent and systematic working style, teamwork skills, and a desire to develop expertise in a changing environment. Suitable qualifications include a higher education degree in building services engineering or equivalent, along with experience in similar roles. Good written and spoken Finnish skills are required. The role also requires the ability to use a personal car. Salary is based on the municipal technical staff collective agreement TS, with a monthly salary of €3,843.75. According to the collective agreement, the professional allowance ranges from 0-8%, depending on experience. The position has a six-month probation period. We will begin recruitment discussions in week 24, with interviews scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, and Thursday, June 11. We will review original education and employment certificates at that time.
