We are seeking a school assistant, primary location: Kiinamyllyn School. The position begins on August 1, 2026, and is permanent. Kiinamyllyn School is responsible for the education of children and adolescents at TYKS's children's and youth clinic and the pediatric and adolescent psychiatric hospital. Students come from municipalities within the Southwest Finland welfare area. In addition to students in hospital care, our school provides education for students in psychiatric outpatient care whose schooling has been interrupted or is at risk of interruption due to psychological issues. As a school assistant, you are an essential part of our flexible and diverse learning support. We expect good teamwork skills, an encouraging pedagogical attitude, the ability to meet students individually, and an active and independent work approach. Experience in hospital education, previous experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, prior work with children and adolescents with mental health issues, and understanding of collaboration between hospital education, social work, and healthcare are considered an advantage.
