A unique job like no other – come work at Lapland airports! Kittilä Airport is one of Finland's busiest winter airports. It handles hundreds of thousands of travelers annually, especially during the winter season when Levi, Ylläs, and other Lapland destinations attract visitors from around the world. The airport is located five kilometers from Kittilä town center, amidst snowy mountain scenery, but during the season, its activity is anything but quiet. As an aircraft cabin cleaner, you play an important role in ensuring that aircraft are clean and ready for the next flight. You are responsible for cleaning aircraft during turnaround processes. The work is fast-paced and scheduled tightly. When needed, your duties may also include terminal cleaning, ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of airport facilities. In this role, cleanliness is not just about cleaning but also part of the first impression for passengers and a safe flying experience. You will be part of a close-knit team doing practical and meaningful work at the heart of air traffic. Requirements from applicants: - At least 18 years old - Clean criminal background (a basic security clearance will be conducted for selected candidates) - Proficiency in English - Good physical condition (the job involves moving inside aircraft and can be fast-paced) - Initiative and careful work attitude The position is subject to the law on the protection of privacy in working life. A valid drug test is required as part of the employment screening. Success in this role requires being proactive, meticulous, and eager to learn through practical experience. Work shifts vary, and you must be able to move to the airport at any time of day. In December, work is available almost daily, but in spring, the focus shifts to weekends when the airport is busiest. This schedule is especially suitable for students and others seeking flexible work alongside their studies. Kittilä Airport has limited public transportation, so a car or other means of transportation is essential. The work begins in October and continues until March 2027. Contracts are temporary hourly agreements. We offer a supportive and encouraging work environment where we work seriously but with a relaxed attitude.
