You are interested in specializing in energy and environmental design or deepening your existing expertise. This is possible also in Kuopio! You will work in a reputable, growing domestic company, involved in diverse projects often in a consulting role in a constantly evolving field. Your role involves working as an energy design expert in our sustainable construction team, responsible for sizing and designing heating and cooling systems, and producing input data for other design disciplines. Your goal is to ensure reasonable energy consumption, functional systems, and achievement of carbon footprint targets. The role emphasizes a consulting approach: setting goals with clients, guiding design, and being the go-to expert in energy and environmental matters. You will be involved in various projects, some lasting months, others shorter. You will work with clients, designers, contractors, and equipment manufacturers. You will also participate in developing our operations and tools, and in shaping your role with us, with opportunities for career advancement. Our Kuopio office has over 100 experts from various fields, including architects, construction managers, and technical specialists. The salary for this role is between €3,400 and €4,600 per month, depending on skills and potential. To succeed, you should have previous experience in energy design, including heating, cooling, and energy calculations.
