We are looking for part-time (82.35%) teaching assistants at Järvenpää Community School. The weekly working time is 31 hours and 30 minutes. There are four available positions, all located in primary school, including afternoon club supervision. Two positions are personal guidance roles. One involves working both at the main school and Kyrölä unit. Please specify which role you are interested in in your application. As a teaching assistant, you play an important role in students' daily life and well-being. You guide and support students with various learning and school support needs, helping to create a safe, encouraging, and inclusive school day. You work closely with teachers and the multidisciplinary team, supported by an active and caring community. Järvenpää Community School is a growing, unified basic education school near the city center, with excellent transport links. The school emphasizes community, teamwork, and self-governance. The school has about 840 students in the 2026–2027 school year, including 18 groups for students with special support needs. Collaboration between general and special education is close. Teaching takes place in four different buildings, three located at the intersection of Urheilukatu and Kansakoulukatu, and the fourth is Kyrölä unit for early primary students. The salary is based on the job's complexity and experience, with a basic salary of €2403.43/month (part-time 82.35%, approx. €1979/month). Additional experience-based pay up to 8% of the base salary is paid if applicable. Probation period is half the employment duration.
