Kaski Group is a domestic and growing family business, with its most well-known company Kaskipuu Oy manufacturing windows and doors. Starting in 1978 with a small team, Kaskipuu has grown into a group of over 350 professionals. We are now seeking a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT for the parent company Kaski Partners Oy in Oulu to strengthen the finance team. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for complex accounting tasks and support the finance team as an expert. The focus areas include accounting, financial statements, tax returns, and group accounting. The Kaski Group’s finance team manages the financials of several group companies, including a large industrial parent company and smaller entities and structures. The role requires strong expertise, independence, and the ability to manage overall processes. Your key tasks will include: - Group accounting and monthly consolidations - Supporting and advising the finance team - Managing accounting processes - Preparing financial statements and tax returns with the team - Ensuring monthly financial processes - Developing financial processes - Potentially developing controlling and reporting functions The role’s emphasis can be tailored based on the candidate’s skills. We are primarily seeking a manager-level professional, but a highly experienced group accountant may also be suitable. Requirements We expect you to have: - Strong accounting expertise - Experience with financial statements and tax returns - Experience with group accounting and consolidations - Ability to work independently and take responsibility - Good Finnish language skills - Sufficient English skills for communication with international companies Additional valued skills include: - Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles - Experience managing multiple company finances - Development-oriented approach - Controller or reporting expertise Ideal candidate profile The successful candidate is detail-oriented, responsible, skilled, flexible, and a team player.
