Production Worker

Production workers wanted for Nokian Heavy Tires Oy. We are looking for full-time production workers for the component, assembly and baking sections. Start dates in autumn as suitable candidates are found. Role: You will work as part of the production team in various production steps. Responsibilities include operating machines and equipment, performing the different tire manufacturing steps (depending on the department), quality control and production monitoring, reporting and production-related records, and possibly operating handling equipment or a forklift. The job is physically demanding, especially for the upper body, with various lifts and repetitions and standing work. After training, you work independently but in close collaboration with the rest of the team. We expect: - willingness/experience of 3-shift work - good work-life skills and responsible attitude - good physical capabilities - initiative and teamwork - ability to work under pressure and accuracy Advantage if you have prior production experience, mechanical assembly or tool use. Interest in machines, equipment or vehicles is a plus. Salary and benefits: - training pay about €13/hour, after which pay rises to about €17-€18/hour. On top of hourly pay, shift allowances and possible other bonuses. Workplace located in Nokia centre and it is shift-based, so own car or other transport is required. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required.
