Job Details
Responsibilities
- Evolving Supabase Edge Runtime
- Implementing monitoring, alerting, and OpenTelemetry tracing
- Collaborating with Deno and open-source teams
- Participating in on-call rotation
- Managing features like scheduled functions and WebSockets
- Integrating functions with Auth, Postgres, Storage, and Realtime
- Expanding functions to support more use cases
- Improving DX of developing and debugging functions locally
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or systems engineering experience
- Strong fluency in Rust and TypeScript
- Experience with V8 Isolates, Deno and JavaScript runtimes
- Experience operating infrastructure at scale - Kubernetes, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, Redis
- A strong vision for edge compute and data
