About the role

We are looking for a flexible early childhood education social worker who is a team player. The duties of the early childhood education social worker consist of tasks related to the education and guidance of children. The social worker plans and implements the education and guidance of children within the child group. The social worker operates as part of a multidisciplinary team. It is important to us to support the holistic development and learning conditions of the child in a safe, encouraging, and positive atmosphere, as well as to maintain open and communicative interaction with parents and among staff. We expect you to have good interaction and teamwork skills, as well as a child-centered and family-supporting approach to work. You have the ability to meet both children and adults sensitively and possess a solution-oriented attitude when facing challenges. Our daycare operates with eight groups across two different locations. In Ilpoiset, you will join a professional and collaborative work community where children are encouraged to participate through play, creativity, and physical activity. The forest and nature in the immediate environment provide an inspiring addition to our learning environment. Eligibility requirement: Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) §27. The person selected for the position must provide the employer with a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
