We are once again seeking a machinist for Tampere on a permanent basis. Our significant and well-known client is looking for a CNC machinist for a long-term position. The company combines decades of experience, modern machines, and ongoing development of employees’ skills with commendable leadership. The workplace is located in Tampere with good public transport connections, so owning a car is not necessarily required. In this role you will work with Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controlled machines, with partly pre-written programs; programming is part of the duties. Wincam programming is a daily part of the work and is considered a definite plus. The work mainly involves turning, grinding, and turning-like operations. The parts handled and the machining tasks offer variety and appropriate challenge. Daily duties include machining operations, setups, measurements, quality assurance, and finishing operations. You will have access to a modern machine fleet and the support of a skilled team – you will not be alone. We are looking for a person with a completed machinist qualification; it is an advantage if you have some prior work experience. Programming skills are a plus. The most important is a good attitude toward work, motivation to learn, and proactive approach. The job is full-time with regular day shifts, with possible 1–2 shift rotations.
