Role Overview\nThe Engineering Sales Practice Leader role is a combination of strategic and execution-focused role responsible for driving engineering GBL business growth, Customer Engagement, and proactive selling in the Western Europe based out of Nordics. The role blends business acumen, sales mindset and technical ability to immerse WE Practices and offering into Wipro accounts in Western Europe. The role requires working closely with PAE/GAE/AE of Western Europe SMUs, to support account expansion with Wipro Engneering offerings and ensure customer satisfaction in engineering programs. Key Responsibilities include Account Growth & Client Engagement, building relationships with client stakeholders (engineering leaders, CIO/CTO org), identifying upsell opportunities, acting as trusted advisor on technology transformation, leading Pre-Sales & Proposal Management, developing effort estimations, pricing models, and delivery strategies, creating compelling value propositions and delivering client presentations, partnering with sales and account teams, and supporting deal closures and pipeline growth. Technology Solutions encompass leading offerings across Telecom Connectivity, Industry 4.0, Platform engineering, Data platforms, AI/GenAI, and emerging tech; translating client business problems into scalable high-impact technology solutions; defining reference architectures and reusable assets; collaborating with global practice teams. Stakeholder Engagement emphasizes relationships with Client contacts, SMU teams, Practice teams; partnering with Delivery leadership for seamless handoff; working with delivery teams to identify delivery-led growth opportunities and groom new leaders; supporting QBRs and escalations; and fostering innovation bootstrapping. Practice Development includes building practice capabilities, accelerators and reusable frameworks; mentoring solution architects and delivery leads; supporting thought leadership; and aligning with global engineering strategy. Required Skills & Qualifications include Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or related field; 12+ years in engineering services; proven track record in solutioning and proposal development; customer-facing experience (preferably in Western Europe); strong understanding of end-to-end project delivery; knowledge of engineering services business models; experience with global delivery models (onsite-offshore); familiarity with modern architectures (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems); excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
