At IQM, we build world-leading quantum computers for the well-being of humankind. We design systems to tackle computational challenges beyond the practical limits of classical machines. Our work sits at the edge of science and engineering. It's complex, demanding, and deeply collaborative. We turn deep research into reliable, full-stack systems that drive discoveries in fields like medicine, energy, and technology, reshaping how the world computes. Join the team that gives quantum a heartbeat. The work We are seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to strengthen our Cleanroom team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, and tracking activities across cleanroom and equipment hook-up projects, as well as ongoing maintenance and spares management. You will contribute to both project delivery and long-term operational reliability. What you’ll actually do Track and report progress, milestones, and deliverables for new equipment ramp-up projects. Identify potential delays. Plan and coordinate with subcontractors, equipment vendors and internal teams for equipment ramp-up. Ensure availability of consumables, utilities, and accessories for equipment ramp-up. Arrange and facilitate meetings and site visits. Maintain project documentation including drawings, diagrams and quality reports. Assist with equipment MES integration. Track and monitor equipment consumables and spare parts stock levels; initiate replenishment as needed. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of schedule changes and maintenance activities. Develop and maintain proper reporting of equipment performance. What we’re looking for At least 1 year of professional experience in project coordination, planning or scheduling, in any industry and with any educational background. Strong organization and documentation skills, high accuracy and a sharp eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the confidence to follow up with busy engineers, vendors and contractors until things get done. Comfort in a technical environment and the curiosity to quickly learn what each tool needs to run. Someone who loves bringing order to complexity and stays calm under pressure: here, keeping everything on track is the job, not a side task. Seen as an advantage Experience from a cleanroom, semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing environment. Familiarity with equipment installation and utility hook-ups, preventive maintenance planning or spare-parts management. Why IQM? Full-stack quantum computing: From quantum hardware to software layers and beyond, we build across the full-stack. High-performance playground: We aim high, and we know sustainable performance only works when life outside work does too—hybrid setups, flexible hours. Never the smartest: You won’t always be the smartest person in the room. Neither will we. Expect to learn constantly - from each other and beyond with IQM’s Learning Hub, LinkedIn Learning, and a team-based L&D budget. Approachable leadership: Flat hierarchy, direct access. Feel free to approach any leaders. They're friendlier than they look! The sweet spot: Big enough to matter. Small enough to move fast. Growing between a startup and a corporation. We’re in the phase where top performers get noticed. Bigger than IQM: Our people build know-how for the entire quantum ecosystem. We publish papers, run hackathons, and help shape a market that's still being defined. The future of computing won’t build itself. You might be one of the few who do.
