Groundworks worker for cable and fibre-optic work – start soon! Would you like a job where you can see the results of your work right away? Join us in building fibre-optic connections and cable routes. We are looking for a groundworks worker for cable and pipe trenches, and you can start at short notice. What is the work like? The work starts with surveying and continues through earthworks all the way to commissioning. The days are varied: sometimes you use a shovel, sometimes a chain saw or ground saw; you pull cables, blow fibre, take measurements and carry out installations. The work is outdoors in Finland’s changeable weather. You are the right person for us if • You have experience in earthworks or fibre-optic work, or the desire and motivation to learn something new. A good attitude to work is what matters most. • You speak good Finnish, as it is the working language on site and you will also meet customers there. • You have a category B driving licence (a BE licence is a major plus). • You have a valid occupational safety card. If you do not have one, we will arrange it before work starts. Our promise to employees We make sure that working conditions and equipment are in order and that you receive pay matching your skills. Pay is approximately €14–16 per hour, depending on previous experience, and wages are paid twice a month.
