Occupational Safety Manager

Koskisen is seeking a Group Occupational Safety and Ability Manager to strengthen the development of occupational safety, occupational health, and well-being towards a 'zero accident' vision. The role involves building a unified culture and impactful operating models to ensure safety and ability management are integrated into daily work. Reporting to the HR Director, the manager acts as a sparring partner for management and supervisors. Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing safety and ability operating models, managing reporting and communication, and training management and operational staff. The role involves active cooperation with authorities (occupational safety and rescue services), occupational health services, and pension companies. The position also includes the statutory role of Occupational Safety Manager, organizing and developing occupational safety cooperation, and acting as the supervisor for the occupational safety representative. Initially, the focus will be on mapping the current state and creating a development plan for the coming years. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing industrial environment, a coaching approach, and strong knowledge of safety legislation. Good English skills and a willingness to use AI tools are required. Experience in ability management and coaching certifications are considered an advantage. The primary workplace is Järvelä, with some travel between sites in Finland.
