Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking two early childhood education teachers for permanent employment starting August 17, 2026. Räntämäki Daycare is located near diverse learning environments, partly in a multicultural area. Our daycare operates eight children's groups across three different units. There is a good community spirit and working atmosphere in the work community. Our staff consists of motivated, enthusiastic, and competent early childhood education professionals. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for building the operational culture and learning environment of your children's group, planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating pedagogical activities, and supporting children's individual learning. We value strong pedagogical expertise as well as good interaction and organizational skills. We expect a flexible and positive attitude, a developmental approach to work, and constructive skills related to teamwork. Involving children and meeting children sensitively are particularly important to us. We will interview applicants during the application period. We consider early childhood education teacher students who are about to graduate. The job requires sufficient oral and written proficiency in Finnish. Eligibility requirements are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) § 26 / § 27. The person selected for the position must provide the employer with a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on the Verification of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
