We are hiring two skilled, energetic and self-directed cooks for varied duties in the kitchen at Jorvi Hospital, on permanent contracts. HUS Support Services, officially called Runkopalvelut, ensures that hospitals have the best possible conditions for caring for patients. A cook’s duties include preparing food while taking special diets into account. Cooks may also work with portioning and distributing patient meals, dishwashing and other varied kitchen duties. One of the positions focuses on special-diet cooking, while the other is in the hospitality kitchen, where bakery and confectionery skills are considered an advantage. Please state in your application which position interests you. Work location: Jorvi Hospital, Espoo. Employment: Permanent, full-time, shift work. Working hours are generally between 6:00 and 17:00. The work also includes weekends. Collective agreement and pay: HYVTES; the position-specific salary is €2,725.50 per month plus supplements in accordance with the agreement. Start date: 9 November 2026 or by agreement. Good spoken and satisfactory written Finnish are essential. A hygiene passport is required. Eligibility requirements Vocational training in the field and suitable experience. Employees working in customer and patient facilities must have the vaccination protection required under the Communicable Diseases Act.
