**Job Description** We are seeking a chef for North Resort Oy to work as part of the kitchen team at an international tourism center. In this role, you will prepare high-quality food for international customers and participate in the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure smooth functioning. **Key Responsibilities** - Food preparation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, à la carte dishes, and excursion meals). - Handling and pre-preparation of raw materials. - Daily kitchen maintenance tasks. - Compliance with self-monitoring and food hygiene standards. - Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and the condition of tools. - Assisting with maintenance and support tasks as needed. - Cooperation with other restaurant and program service staff. **Requirements** - Suitable education or experience in chef duties. - Valid hygiene passport. - Knowledge of self-monitoring and food hygiene. - Good cooperation and customer service skills. - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and during peak seasons. - Basic English skills; other language skills are considered an advantage. **We Offer** - A diverse role in an international tourism center. - The opportunity to work with high-quality local ingredients and Lappish flavors. - A good work community and a modern working environment. - The opportunity to participate in the construction and development of a new tourist destination. **Terms of Employment** - The employment is permanent or fixed-term depending on the position. - Working hours are determined according to the shift schedule. - The employment follows the Collective Agreement for Tourism, Restaurant and Leisure Services (MaRa TES). - A 6-month probationary period applies in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act and the collective agreement. - Salary is determined based on skills, experience, and MaRa TES. - The selected person must provide an acceptable medical certificate of health before the start of employment.
