Responsible Site Manager

We carry out both new-build and renovation projects, focusing especially on industrial and commercial properties, public buildings and housing construction. Read more: www.mkmsolutions.fi. As we grow, we are now looking for responsible construction site managers for Jakobstad and Vaasa. Would you like to take responsibility for construction projects and help develop a growing construction company where decisions are made smoothly and the joy of building is central to the culture? As a responsible construction site manager, you play a key role in the daily operations of the construction site. You lead and coordinate site activities, ensure resources are used efficiently and make sure projects progress according to schedules, quality requirements and targets. You coordinate the work of our own staff, subcontractors and separate contractors, and ensure smooth cooperation among all parties. You are responsible for the project's day-to-day planning and monitoring, including weekly schedules, resource planning and material procurement. You play an important part in the project's financial management and promote cost-effective solutions. You are also responsible for occupational safety, handling deviations and meeting quality requirements in close cooperation with the project manager and project engineer. You attend site and contract meetings, keep in contact with clients and handle additional and change work. The scope of your responsibilities varies according to the size and nature of the project. We are looking for someone with a construction engineer or construction foreman qualification, construction-industry experience and a good practical understanding of construction-site operations. FISE qualification as a responsible construction site manager is an advantage, but not essential. The role requires good spoken Finnish, Swedish and English. To succeed, you need to manage several matters at once, prioritise what is important and find solutions when circumstances change. You take responsibility, move matters forward purposefully and enjoy leading people and working together. We are looking for one person for Jakobstad and one for Vaasa. Work will mainly focus on projects in your own region, although project needs may also involve work in other locations.
