Metso is a frontrunner in sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries globally. We improve our customers energy and water efficiency, increase their productivity, and reduce environmental risks with our product and service expertise. We are the partner for positive change. Metso is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. At the end of 2025 Metso had close to 18,000 employees in around 50 countries, and sales in 2025 were about EUR 5.3 billion. Metso is listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki. Would you be our new Electrical Engineer? We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the EIA Delivery team within Metso, working on large-scale international plant delivery projects. In this role, you will participate in the design and delivery of process electrification solutions for metallurgical plants, including MV and LV systems, transformers, drives, and cabling. You will also support conceptual design, cost estimation, and technical sales activities, while occasionally participating in installation supervision and commissioning at customer sites. Most of our projects are delivered internationally, and project durations vary depending on their scope and complexity. You will work alongside experience engineers who will support you in project work. As your expertise grows, you will gradually take on greater responsibility and manage larger project entities independently. This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will be employed by Biisoni. The role is based at our Espoo office, and we offer a flexible hybrid working model with the possibility to work remotely a few days per week. As our projects are global, occasional travel may also be part of the role. What are we looking for? To succeed in this position, you will need a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering) and some experience in industrial process electrification projects. Familiarity with industrial electrification, power distribution systems, electrical drives, and international standards such as IEC and NEMA is considered an advantage. You may be a recent graduate or already have a few years of experience, but we hope you have gained exposure to heavy industrial environments, for example through internships or summer jobs. As you will be working in an international environment, fluent written and spoken English skills are required. As a person, you are a detail-oriented and self-driven problem solver who takes ownership of your work. You work systematically and remain calm and solution-focused even in demanding situations. You have good interpersonal and communication skills, which help you work smoothly with different stakeholders. You are committed to continuous learning and eager to deepen your expertise. Why us? We value our dedicated and driven professionals. As an important part of our highly motivated and skilled team, you contribute directly to our shared success. We offer you an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders, supported by an open-minded, international, and friendly community of experts. Once you have a solid grasp of the job, you will have the flexibility to work partly remotely, along with excellent opportunities to develop your professional skills and knowledge in a cutting-edge company at the forefront of its industry. We're committed to your success and will provide you with a comprehensive onboarding and a supportive environment where you can truly thrive. Are you interested? If you are interested, we want to hear from you as soon as possible! Please submit your application in either English or Finnish via the link by 2.11.2026. The interviewing process will begin during the application period. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide relocation assistance to Finland. The recruitment process is carried out in cooperation with Biisoni. For more information on the position, please contact Elise Niinimäki, HR Coordinator, e-mail: elise.niinimaki@biisoni.fi.
