CNC and manual machinists for Pirkanmaa. We are looking for skilled machinists for permanent and long-term employment in the Pirkanmaa region. The roles cover a range of tasks in CNC machining and manual machining — you may be proficient with Mazak, Siemens and Heidenhain controls or an experienced manual machinist. Your duties may include operating CNC machines (e.g., Mazak 3-axis milling, horizontal lathe, 5-axis milling center), programming and editing programs (Mazatrol, Mastercam, CAD/CAM), setting up and fixturing, tool corrections, measurements and quality control, small-batch machining and handling heavier parts, or manual machining tasks such as deburring, threading, edge deburring and other hand machining work. The work is mainly shift-based (2–3 shifts) depending on the task. We expect from you for the CNC machinist role: training and some experience with milling centers; proficiency with Mazak, Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls; Mastercam or other CAD/CAM skills; experience with settings, tool corrections and measurement; ability to read technical drawings; precise and proactive work attitude; willingness for shift work. For the manual machinist role: previous manual machining experience; ability to read drawings; good physical condition and carefulness; ability to work independently and in a team.
