Practical Nurse

We are seeking a practical nurse for Resource Unit 8 of Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Services County. The initial placement is at Hakalehto in Nykarleby. Previous work experience in elderly care is considered an advantage. The role requires readiness and willingness to participate in flexible work rotation and a commitment to working, when necessary, in other units of the resource unit. The work also requires the ability to adapt to changing situations and good cooperation skills. Eligibility requirement: A practical nurse qualification or a qualification in accordance with the Decree on Health Care Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Welfare Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. Practical nurse graduates are required to register in both professional registers of the Licensing and Supervision Agency, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) and provide a criminal record extract as specified in section 6(2) of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
