Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor We are seeking a Production Supervisor for Honkarakenne’s Karstula factory to lead the daily operations and personnel of blank production. As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for meeting production targets and ensuring that work is carried out safely, to a high standard and efficiently. You will organise daily production, allocate resources, and monitor production progress and key figures. The role focuses on leading occupational safety, improving production efficiency and strengthening a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with other Production Supervisors and colleagues in production planning, quality, maintenance and procurement. You will report to the Production Director. What we expect from you We expect you to have experience in industrial production and in production control, work supervision or supervisory roles. We value evidence of improving production efficiency and productivity, as well as experience with continuous improvement methods. The role also requires an understanding of developing occupational safety and quality management. You will lead production towards its targets, use key figures, and identify bottlenecks and other areas for improvement. Your leadership style is clear, fair and practical, and you are comfortable working in changing situations. A suitable technical education, such as an engineering degree in wood technology, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, provides a good foundation for success in the role. You will also need to use Microsoft Office, be ready to work with ERP systems, and have basic English skills to understand materials needed for the job.
