Software Developer (Control Technology)

What will you do? - You will develop and maintain an internal software solution for configuring and diagnosing IO-Link devices in a cross-functional team. - You will design, implement and maintain backend components with C# and .NET for use in PROFINET-based automation systems. - You will analyze existing software architectures and continuously improve them through debugging, refactoring and modernization. - You will ensure the quality and maintainability of the software through code reviews, automated tests and adherence to development standards. - You will collaborate across domains with automation technology, software development and commissioning, and maintain documentation and knowledge transfer within the team. What you bring with you? - A completed university degree in computer science, software engineering, automation engineering or a comparable technical qualification. - At least three years of professional software development experience, ideally in an industrial or near-system environment. - Strong skills in backend development with C# and .NET and in designing maintainable software architectures. - Practical experience in evolving existing software solutions, particularly in error analysis, testing, refactoring and modernization. - Very good German and English language skills, German C1 and English B2 according to the European Reference Framework (GER)
