As a personal assistant, your most important task is to support our client’s preferred way of life and make everyday life run smoothly, both at the client’s home and outside it. You assist with ordinary daily activities that the client would do themselves but cannot manage alone because of a disability or illness. You help ensure that our client receives the best possible support, can live life on their own terms and enjoy an active everyday life as part of a community. Your duties may include assistance with mobility, household tasks, cooking, hobbies, personal hygiene, social visits, errands, or activities at school and the workplace. Pay follows the private social services collective agreement, grade G16A (hourly pay €13.20–€14.51 depending on years of experience, plus collective-agreement supplements for shift work). The employment is on an on-call basis (hourly work), so you can work according to your own schedule. You work with one client at a time, and the number of hours varies depending on the client. We do not require specific education or previous experience; what matters most is a genuine interest in disability support and assistance. You want to support the client’s life on their own terms, follow their instructions and respect their right to self-determination. The people selected for the role must have vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act.
