Data Architect

What’s the role? Integrata is an intelligent HR and payroll administration company, where more than 250 skilled professionals work to make customers’ everyday lives smoother. Strong expertise. No stuffy attitudes. Bring your intelligence to Integrata as a Data Architect, building and developing the data solutions behind Integrata’s analytics. Your main work will be developing and maintaining Azure SQL Server environments and reporting data models. You will build new customer database environments, maintain, monitor and develop reporting data models, keep customer-specific reporting databases up to date, and build integrations from different source systems using Azure Data Factory. There is plenty of data; your task is to keep it organised and moving. The customer is one of us. We work as a team with our customers and bring intelligent HR technologies—and a little humour—into their everyday lives. We let automation take care of routine and repetitive work. Our offices offer colleagues in Tampere, Helsinki, Oulu, Pori, Turku or Jyväskylä. From time to time, the work requires domestic rail travel. What do we expect from you? Previous experience You are familiar with the data engineering chain from end to end. You have experience in data integration and ETL/ELT processes, through data-model design and preparing data for reporting and analytics. In other words, you understand what happens to data on its journey from source to practical use, and can build that journey to work effectively. Experience in long-term product development and consultative work with different customers is definitely an advantage. You can listen to customer needs, challenge them when appropriate, and turn discussions into concrete technical solutions. If you have worked with HR data before, even better. It is not essential, but we consider it an advantage. Your technical toolkit Your technical toolkit includes Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps, as well as SQL. Familiarity with Power BI and DAX is useful in this role, and Python is also beneficial. You can develop data models and environments and translate information needs into technical implementations and the necessary specifications. You are familiar with ETL/ELT processes. AI skills are important in this role for two reasons. You understand how AI-based features can be used and implemented as part of data architecture and products, and how to use AI tools intelligently to support your own work. Salary range We have made a diversity pledge and promote pay transparency.
