Practical Nurse

Lieksan Kotipirtti Oy is expanding its operations and is now seeking two (2) enthusiastic and responsible practical nurses to join its team starting on 1 January 2027. Key duties As a practical nurse, you are responsible for the comprehensive care and wellbeing of our residents during your shift: - Medication and nursing tasks: You are responsible for safe medication administration and basic nursing procedures. - Resident safety: You ensure high-quality, safe everyday care in accordance with self-monitoring practices. - Psychosocial support and presence: You meet residents in their daily lives by listening and supporting their mental wellbeing and resources. - Activities and everyday enjoyment: You plan and carry out meaningful activities that maintain residents’ functional ability. What do we expect from you? - Education: A vocational qualification in social and health care as a practical nurse, and social welfare professional rights. - Language skills: The professional language at the workplace is Finnish. We require excellent Finnish skills (at least C1 level) to ensure fluent customer service, documentation and resident safety. - Competence: Valid medication permits or readiness to obtain them at the beginning of employment. - Attitude: A responsible, self-directed and development-oriented approach to work. - Interaction skills: A warm and respectful way of meeting residents, their relatives and colleagues.
