The Työterveyslaitos security and legal team seeks a qualified lawyer to join the Operational Support unit. The role involves reviewing and commenting on contracts related to research, development and innovation, as well as addressing privacy and data protection matters in practice. You will participate in legal assessments related to information privacy, handle data requests under the Public Information Act, and support the legal team with various tasks. Requirements include a higher university degree in law (not including international and comparative law master's), at least two years of experience as a lawyer, at least one year of independent contract-law experience, practical experience with data protection legislation or data-protection related contract matters, excellent written and spoken Finnish and English, strong collaboration, interpersonal and negotiation skills, an autonomous, solution-oriented, proactive work approach, and proficient use of information systems. Knowledge of publicity, data management, access to information or cyber-security and AI regulation is a plus. We offer meaningful work, good benefits and a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment. The position is full-time and permanent with six months' probation; you may choose one of our offices (Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Kuopio). Requirements
- Master of Law (not the international and comparative law master)

- Experience or knowledge in publicity, information management, freedom of information or cyber security/AI regulation is a plus
