TJS Opintokeskus is an education and development organization jointly owned by Akava and STTK. As Rector you will lead the organization nationwide and drive its development to the next phase. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and implementation of the strategy, overseeing the organization’s operations and development, shaping customer-oriented services in collaboration with member associations, building and maintaining strong networks, preparing administrative matters and ensuring execution of decisions, leading staff and developing the work community. We expect experience from demanding leadership roles and organizational development, the ability to act as a first-line supervisor, a customer-focused mindset and service development, capacity to operate actively in broad stakeholder networks, understanding of the union and labor market landscape, and a higher university degree plus eligibility or readiness to obtain the Rector qualification, fluent Finnish with the ability to work also in Swedish and English.
