Electrical Works Supervisor

We are seeking AN ELECTRICAL WORKS SUPERVISOR for a permanent position starting on 1 January 2027 or as agreed. The Electrical Works Supervisor is the responsible person for electrical, automation and security systems and the electrical works manager for Hamina City and the Hamina Vesi municipal enterprise. Responsibilities include directing work, ensuring and guiding employees’ professional skills, and taking care of tools and the practical conditions of the work. The supervisor participates in the on-call rotation for work supervision and supervises two electricians. In this role, you will be part of the city’s Property Services unit, which is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing properties owned by Hamina City, as well as providing expert services to other city departments. The qualification requirement is a suitable higher-education degree or an equivalent earlier institute-level qualification. We require knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act 1135/2016 and electrical-sector standards, as well as previous work experience in the areas of responsibility. The role also requires good interaction skills with subordinates and internal and external partners. Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset. The position-specific salary is €4,051.54 per month. Previous work experience affects total pay. The position has a six-month probationary period.
