We are seeking a capable and motivated digital electronics designer to join our design team to develop and design digital systems and solutions using modern design, simulation and verification tools. Your duties include digital electronics design, testing, verification and fault finding as well as documentation of the design work. We are especially looking for a person with knowledge or experience in digital systems and FPGA design.

Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, testing and integrating complex digital systems
- Logic synthesis and digital system simulation and test bench implementation
- FPGA-based product design, testing and verification
- Embedded and distributed digital system design including real-time systems and bus technologies
- Assessing system performance and implementing required changes to designs
- Carrying out extensive testing and identifying and fixing faults
- Documentation of design work and preparation of technical reports
Requirements
- A relevant university degree or studies in the field
- Experience or skills in digital electronics and FPGA design (e.g. VHDL, Verilog)
- Knowledge of logic design, simulation and verification and toolchains (e.g. Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus)
- Systematic and careful working style with ability to manage complex projects
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in Finnish and English
