Accountant

For our end client, we are looking for an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) with strong expertise in French accounting standards (PCG). The main responsibility will be supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting activities, statutory reporting, and tax compliance. Tasks: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting; Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the PCG; Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory tax filings; Perform account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations; Coordinate with auditors and external tax advisors when required. Requirements: Several years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international environment; Strong knowledge of the PCG; IFRS knowledge is considered an advantage; Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Business-fluent French and English (minimum B2); German language skills are not required. Project Details: Start ASAP; Duration 6 months+ (extension possible); Capacity: Full-time; Location: Frankfurt Area (hybrid, onsite and remote work possible); Language: French & English (fluent).
