At Havuja Solutions, we develop optical measurement and calibration systems that combine robotics, sensors, and optics into integrated solutions—from laboratory equipment to production systems—for leading defense and consumer electronics clients worldwide. As our company grows, we are seeking an optical engineer to join our team. Responsibilities - Assist in designing and building optical measurement systems and prototypes. - Work with imaging and non-imaging optics, sensors, cameras, lighting, and calibration. - Support the development of optical measurement methods such as imaging, interferometry, radiometry/photometry, or machine vision. - Participate in prototyping, alignment, testing, automation, and data analysis. - Collaborate with software, robotics, electronics, and mechanical teams. - Integrate sensors and optical systems into drones, robotics, and field systems. - Occasionally support customer integrations, testing, and field pilots. Qualifications - Background in optics, physics, photonics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. - Interest in optical systems, imaging, measurement technology, or metrology. - Some experience with optical simulation tools (Zemax/OpticStudio, Code V, or similar). - Experience in coding or scripting for automation, testing, or data analysis. - Curious attitude and willingness to learn by doing. - Good communication skills in English. - Interest in robotics, autonomous systems, or practical engineering projects is a plus.
