Unit Manager

Unit Manager, Kero Services Ylläs We are hiring a Unit Manager for Ylläs to take overall responsibility for the unit’s business: cleaning, property maintenance and related contracts. Kero Services is a Finnish cleaning and property services company operating in Ylläs, Levi, Rovaniemi and Kalajoki. It provides services to holiday-home owners, housing companies and businesses at nearly one thousand properties. Ylläs is the company’s largest unit: we take care of more than 700 properties there, and the business has grown rapidly. We are now looking for someone to lead the entire unit and be responsible for its day-to-day operations, development and growth. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the operations and results of the entire Ylläs unit. You will lead a team of approximately 20–30 people, including team leaders. You will report to company management. - Lead the unit’s day-to-day operations and be responsible for service quality, customer satisfaction and profitability. - Ensure that cleaning, property maintenance and key services operate effectively. - As a supervisor, recruit, onboard and develop your team and support the team leaders. - Contribute to preparing the unit’s budget and targets and be responsible for achieving them. - Manage key customer relationships and participate in tenders and new customer acquisition. What we expect Required: - Experience in property maintenance or cleaning. - A track record in supervisory work and team leadership. - Financial thinking: you understand what drives profitability and can act accordingly. - A category B driving licence and good Finnish language skills. Considered an advantage: - Experience in tourism destinations or seasonal business. - Project management experience. - English language skills. You are practical. You make decisions independently rather than waiting for ready-made answers. You remain calm when the season is at its busiest. Employment is full-time and permanent. Work starts immediately or by agreement. The workplace is in Ylläs. Salary is €4,000–€5,000 per month depending on experience and skills.
