We are looking for an experienced HVAC designer to strengthen our industrial and building-services expert team. You will join varied and technically interesting projects in which we design functional, safe and energy-efficient solutions to meet our clients’ needs. You can work in Tampere, Espoo, Kuopio, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tornio or Rovaniemi. We work flexibly and collaborate across offices and areas of expertise. As an HVAC designer, you will be responsible for designing building HVAC systems as part of our multidisciplinary project teams. Our projects range from data centres and industrial sites to hospitals, schools, day-care centres, commercial buildings and other public buildings. Your work will include designing functional, energy-efficient and appropriate HVAC solutions; participating in different design phases of projects; working closely with clients, project teams and experts from other design disciplines; coordinating building-services solutions with the building’s intended use and the project’s objectives; and developing your expertise through different projects, technologies and ways of working. The specific content and areas of responsibility can be adjusted according to your experience, expertise and interests. We hope you have suitable technical education, for example a bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services engineering; at least 3–5 years of experience in HVAC design; knowledge of MagiCAD and/or MagiCAD for Revit; experience using building information modelling applications such as Solibri or Navisworks; an independent and careful approach to work; good collaboration and communication skills; and a desire to develop your expertise and share it with others. We value experience in industrial, data-centre, hospital or public-building projects, for example. You do not need to know everything already.
