Asbestos Worker

We are seeking a motivated and proactive person for an asbestos worker apprenticeship. No prior experience in asbestos work is required as we will provide the necessary training and orientation. The apprenticeship lasts 3 months, during which you will perform practical tasks and complete industry training. The aim is to continue the employment after training and allow you to work as a skilled asbestos worker. Job duties include asbestos removal tasks in various sites. During the apprenticeship you will learn safe work practices, required methods and regulations related to asbestos work and will practice tasks under the guidance of experienced colleagues. The job is physically demanding and requires carefulness and strict adherence to safety guidelines. Main responsibilities include participation in asbestos removal, working safely and using tools and protective equipment appropriately, keeping the site clean and safe, cooperating with other site personnel, and developing professional skills during the apprenticeship. Requirements include a positive and motivated attitude, careful and responsible work approach, good physical condition, willingness to perform physical and occasionally strenuous work, ability to follow precise safety instructions, ability to work as part of a team, and a desire to learn a new profession. Prior asbestos experience is not required. Nice-to-haves include prior experience in construction or demolition, construction training or other suitable education, a valid occupational safety card, and a B driving license. We offer a 3-month paid apprenticeship with the necessary training and orientation, the opportunity to learn the profession through practical work, a supportive professional team, and the possibility to continue working after training. Salary: pay is determined according to the Construction Industry collective agreement; wage range for this role, depending on skill level, is 12.59–15.55 €/h.
