Mechanical Assembler

Are you interested in working with rolling stock? Would you like practical work where your contribution helps extend the service life of trains and supports their sustainable use? We are looking for mechanical assembly professionals to work with rolling stock in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Your duties include varied mechanical and component assembly, bogie maintenance, fault repairs and various finishing tasks. You will be part of rolling stock maintenance and extending its service life. The work may involve two shifts, mornings and evenings. Shifts are agreed in advance, but we hope you will be flexible. Selected candidates will undergo an extensive pre-employment health examination before starting work. The railway sector collective agreement applies to the role. You are suited to this role if you have: - A few years of experience in mechanical assembly - Education in metalworking or machinery - Readiness to undergo the extensive health examination required for the role - Good manual skills and an independent approach to work - An Occupational Safety Card and a Hot Work Card - Finnish language skills Previous experience in production facilities is an advantage.
