Electrical Designer

Task you’ll be doing in this role focuses on direct impact on the future of mobile machines and industrial equipment as part of the Tampere electrical and automation design team. Your work will shape electrical system and harness design and modelling for mobile platforms and industrial devices. You may specialise in propulsion powertrains, including battery technologies and power electronics sizing and specifications. You may also be involved in planning device assemblies tests, system testing and defining functional safety and analyses of safety features. Collaborating closely with customers and other stakeholders while maintaining a flexible, technically grounded approach to project work. Salary range for the role is approximately 3,300–4,500 €/month, with a hybrid work model (2–3 office days per week). Responsibilities: - Electrical system and harness design and modelling for mobile equipment and industrial machines - Design of electrical propulsion for mobile machines (battery technologies, power electronics sizing and specifications) - Verifying functional safety, definitions and analyses of safety features - Planning and executing tests for device assemblies and system testing - Collaboration with customers and stakeholders with a flexible, hands-on approach Requirements: - Strong skills in schematics, harnesses and bus technologies - Experience in vehicle or machinery design, especially mobile machines - Appropriate university degree - Fluent English; Finnish a plus - Independent, goal-oriented and proactive work style Desirable: - Experience with E3- or Eplan design tools - Experience with battery technology or electric powertrains - Practical experience with commissioning or fieldwork
