About the role: We’re looking for a Complaints Officer to investigate and resolve complex customer interactions. You will build relationships across departments to understand friction points and reach fair, objective decisions. Your team’s objectives focus on prompt, diligent, fair investigations and improving service. You will handle regulated complaints, manage a varied caseload, and ensure adherence to complaint handling standards and FCA regulation. You will communicate with complainants and stay up-to-date with products and policies. The Interview Process includes a phone screen, cognitive assessment, and onsite interview to demonstrate knowledge of FCA regulations and DISP. Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve complex customer interactions
  • Build relationships across departments to understand friction points
  • Make fair and objective decisions
  • Follow complaint handling standards and FCA regulation
  • Work with Complaints Team to resolve issues across loans, cards and auto-finance
  • Communicate with complainants verbally or in writing
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and policies
  • Produce professional final response letters

Requirements

  • Experience in resolving complaints or customer disputes within a regulated environment
  • Aptitude for investigating, analysing, problem-solving and dispute resolution
  • Ability to self-manage a varied and complex caseload
  • Strong written communication and letter-writing skills
  • Knowledge of FCA regulation and DISP complaint handling rules
